The Stephen Centre (here is the website) is both a restaurant and guesthouse run by Christians since around 1993 and is the main foreign missionary bolt-hole in Tirana. It is styled along the lines of an American Diner and has a really good menu of family-friendly dishes from around the globe.
Wireless internet access is available free. If your laptop does not have wireless built in ask at the cash desk for a USB dongle that should do the trick.
The staff are great and open to suggestions re. the food, and the other events that the Centre puts on. There are musical concerts, and important football (soccer) matches are shown on a big screen.
